Jesus Li is an interdisciplinary Peruvian graphic designer, teacher, and visual artist based in Minnesota. Focusing on type, print mediums, art installation, and cultural identity, Jesus has amassed over 15 years of experience in advertising, media, and cultural fields. His collaborative endeavors have seen him work with organizations such as the Lima Museum of Art, Amnesty International, Sony Pictures LATAM, the University of Minnesota, and Meet Minneapolis.
Having earned an MFA in Visual Studies from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Jesus now serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Foundations and Design Department while working as a Graphic Designer at Carmichael Lynch. His work is distinguished by its vibrant and dynamic use of colors, capturing movement and energy, and his exploration of cultural identities through visual language, including icons, typography families, moving images, and animation.
