Nancy Ariza is a printmaker, educator, and arts and cultural engagement organizer. Her studio practice explores the themes of multigenerational relationships, storytelling, and memory through prints and installation. She has exhibited across the United States in group exhibitions at the Minneapolis Institute of Art in Minneapolis, MN, Blanc Gallery in Chicago, IL, Janet Turner Print Museum at California State University in Chico, CA, Klemm Gallery at Siena Heights University in Adrian, MI, and more.

Outside of her artist practice, Nancy has been developing and leading educational arts programming throughout the state of Minnesota since 2012. She is currently the Associate Curator of Learning and Engagement at the Minnesota Museum of American Art and an adjunct professor at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Nancy has also taught at Highpoint Center for Printmaking, Minnesota Center for Books Arts, Walker Art Center, East Side Arts Council, Minneapolis Institute of Art, and other community-based spaces across the state. She holds a BA in Art History and a BFA in Printmaking from Minnesota State University, Mankato, as well as an MA in Education and Graduate Certificate in Culturally Responsive Teaching from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
